quiet atmosphere, great for relaxation after a week of hard work
Very pleasant staff, alwats willing to help.Although not on beach front only 8 minutes walking away
Original room booked did not have sea views as expected per pictures on website however management changed to a better (more expensive room) as not busy at no additional cost.
Good location. Excellent views if you are on the seaside. Internet access (not always a given in South Africa). Friendly proprietor and staff.
Would like a few more amenities; be happy to pay for them: bottle of water every day in room (not just the first day), maybe an honor bar with beer and wine for purchase in the 'breakfast room' (which is very much under-utilized the rest of the day). Last thing: the doors in the facility bang way too loudly. This happens even when the famous wind is not blowing off the 12 Apostles mountains.
Camps Bay is a great place to spend a few days. Good restaurants and a lovely beach. The hotel has excellent views of both sea and mountains.
Small bedroom, as is the pool which is not a swimming pool as advertised. Breakfast very hit and miss with portions very small. People should also be aware that whilst the hotel is only a short distance from the beach and restaurants its a very steep climb back to the hotel.
Wonderful views all round!
No telephone in the room - a hotel of this class should have them particularly as they a high % of overseas guests.
A nice hotel about 8 minute walk from the beach at camps bay. A great location to explore the city, Table Mountain and the southern part of the cape. Breakfast was great ans sundowners on the terrace a must!
Too many internal doors to be unlocked and sunbeds in limited supply for all of the rooms.
We liked everything. The owner are the kindest people ever, the staff is helpful, smiling and lovely. They have home made muffin. And the breakfast in general is very yummy!!The place is very romantic, nice position on camps bay and near to the city center. I would probably only advice to chose the room with a balcony as they are the best and the view is lovely.Really 10 out of 10!
The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and nice, location is excellent, view is great from the room. Free internet access on first floor, breakfast was very tasty and they even served us if we were late for breakfast!
Getting in and out was a hassle. Having to use our keys to open 3 doors before getting to our room was annoying. No telephone. We would have liked to have a phone in the room to be able to contact reception or outside numbers. Internet access only works on the first floor, if you stay on any other floor it doesnt work.
The staff is lovely and the rooms are great
Amazing property with enourmous spacve and the views of the sea are a highlight! Also you can get a great view of the famous sunsets over the Atlantic from the balcony.
Room was changed from original booking and was very small.
Great hotel, very friendly staff, very comfortable accommodation. Would definetely recommend to others.
No, it was all great, I had a very pleasant stay.
the best, excellent, high standard comfort
Maria and George (the owners) were very friendly without being intrusive during our time spent there. The room that we stayed in was spacious and luxurious and the other living space that was made available for general us was great. The hotel was also in a good location.
Very neat and uncomplicated very personal hotel that leave you alone to get on with what you came to do- business, relax and travel around. It is well sited between city, beach and walks so one can choose to break when ever. We have been before and will be back.
